General Laborer

We are driven by the art of building buildings, while doing so with energy and integrity.&nbsp;</p></div><p>The General Laborer supports various skilled trades/crafts involved in diverse construction projects such as new constructions, renovations, additions, and more. General laborers employ a range of tools and specialized equipment. Tasks may involve site tidying, material handling, loading and unloading, as well as distributing materials and fixtures, among other assignments. Role responsibilities depend on specific work assignments, project types, and construction phases.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supports other skilled trades by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as instructed.</li> <li>Participates in disassembling and transporting construction materials.</li> <li>Ensures daily collection and disposal of accumulated trash on and around the job site.</li> <li>Performs general cleaning and trash removal duties for the job site trailer.</li> <li>Cleans and maintains concrete and forming tools.</li> <li>Operates pumps and equipment for site dewatering requirements.</li> <li>Organizes and cleans conex containers and gang boxes on a daily basis.</li> <li>Manages construction gate duty and flagging responsibilities.</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates precision, thoroughness, and timeliness in work performance.</li> <li>Possesses effective verbal and written communication abilities.</li> <li>Capable of recognizing common construction materials and equipment.</li> <li>Maintains punctual attendance and reliability.</li> <li>Shows a willingness to learn and follows instructions diligently.</li> <li>Accomplishes assigned tasks with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Exhibits a positive and cooperative demeanor.</li> <li>Builds relationships and collaborates effectively within team settings, both internally and externally.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li> <li>Preference given to candidates with apprentice, vocational, technical, or trade training. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.</li> <li>Preferred 0-2 years of commercial construction experience.</li> <li>Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.</li> <li>May encounter extreme environmental conditions (hot or cold).</li> <li>Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as project demands require.</li> <li>Reliable transportation is essential.<
