Nemours is seeking a Temporary Receptionist/Scheduler Senior Care Dental for Wilmington, DE
This position is responsible for: Providing receptionist duties, to greet internal and external clients, patients, and their families. To maintain the schedules in the Epic system the professional and ancillary support staff of the dental services department. Collect and post patient co-pays. Report directly to Dental Clinic Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
1.Greet all patients and visitors in a cordial and helpful manner.
2. Maintain computerized scheduling system, documents DAR notes where applicable.
3.Collect and post patient co-pays
4. Maintain the electronic dental department recall system.
5. Accurately schedules patients, returns messages as needed.
6. Validate all patient insurance and ID cards.
7. Interchange with dentist, hygienists, and assistants.
8.Contact patient’s physician for medical clearances.
Required:
High School Diploma
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a dental receptionist.
Epic experience is preferred.
