Foth is currently seeking a passionate and results-driven Project Civil Engineer looking to gain experience working in an Airport environment. This opportunity will work out of our Louisville, KY office as part of Foth’s Infrastructure Solutions Team.  Foth supports both commercial and general aviation clients across the Southeastern and Midwestern US, providing civil engineering and construction solutions for projects. Airports are exciting environments with a wide range of civil engineering needs to support the various forms of transportation that operate within and around the airport environment. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, focused on providing great service and quality engineering solutions. Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering design support for clients and their projects, including roadways, airfield pavements, storm water needs, parking, construction phasing, and utility design.
• Assist with studies and technical design reports critical to project feasibility
• Provide essential AutoCAD design support for the full project design life cycle
• Create 3D models to support the design and engineering of key project elements
• Engage in construction representation services
• Ensure that design standards and processes align with federal, state, and Foth standards
• Perform civil engineering tasks under the guidance and leadership of a Professional Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer license
• 5+ years of design experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D   
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
• Experience in construction observation and construction administration during employment or college internships

Preferred Qualifications:

• Municipal transportation, DOT, site development, or airport design experience and working knowledge of state, municipal, or federal design standards
• Project management experience
