Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director of CNO Development to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for leadership of a $150M plus organization providing CNO services to the DoD.
Drives business development activities to meet strategic objectives and annual operation/long range strategic plan goals.
Performs daily operational direction and coordination of program planning, integration, control, and resource management
Directs a matrixed team to oversee program planning, staffing, and budgetary matters to ensure timely delivery of contractual commitments to the government.
Collaborates with other division personnel to ensure alignment of technical development with prescribed and agreed upon technology roadmaps across organizations.
Communicates daily with Site Leads, Senior Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), as well as peers within the business unit and other contractors to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of contracted effort.
Successfully resolve issues requiring senior level (government and corporate) attention
Identifies, develops, and implements efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government.
Leads, guides and mentors team members and employees to enable growth.
Less than 25% Travel Required to various customer sites for business development.
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering, computer science, or business with 15+ years of experience.
Recent experience in an organization providing CNO support to the DoD / IC.
Expertise in Program Leadership, Contract Management, and coordination across multiple large and small scale complex programs.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop/lead a high performing team focused on the customer’s mission.
Strong understanding of current DoD CNO organizations and strategic direction.
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
Outstanding people skills, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS Degree in engineering, computer science, or business.
PMP or equivalent as appropriate for level of appointment/profession.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS clearance is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
The person in this position needs to be occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
