Customer Quality Specialist – Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level role.
Location: Preference for Erlanger, KY. If an internal candidates meets the qualifications, this role has the potential to be based out of other NA Flavors sites.
Position Summary
As a Customer Quality Specialist, you will serve as the primary liaison between ADM and our customers on quality and food safety documentation. This is an entry-level role on the Customer Quality team, where you will partner with our commercial, sales, customer service, and production teams, with guidance and support provided by Customer Quality Representatives and Product Stewards.
You will interact directly with existing and prospective customers, follow established processes, and help identify opportunities for improvement, all with the goal of delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will grow in complexity as you deepen your knowledge of our products and services. This position reports to the Customer Quality Manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop foundational knowledge of business unit products and their applications
- Manage incoming quality requests from customers, end users, and sales managers with a focus on delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
- Build relationships with key contacts across business units and learn when to engage each for specific quality-related issues
- Collaborate with Customer Quality Representatives and internal departments on relevant quality matters
- Learn business-specific information systems and build cross-functional knowledge to support coverage across business units
- Complete document requests and basic questionnaires, such as allergen forms
- Respond to customer inquiries received via email or online channels
- Manage requests via Salesforce and assist with request entry, as needed
- Maintain and manage the TraceGains documentation portal
- Keep an up-to-date action item list, including pending questionnaires and follow-ups
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Position Qualifications
- An associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent hands-on experience in quality, customer service, or a technical role
- Strong organizational skills and clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to understand technical terminology and work through basic troubleshooting
- High regard for accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$56,600.00 - $105,600.00
