Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, AR has an opening for a full-time General Services Technician within our Maintenance Department

The General Services Tech is responsible for assisting in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. Position will require knowledge and skill in a wide range of maintenance fields. Will assist the Engineering Department with plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance. Constructs, repairs and maintains wooden structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions and other parts of the hospital buildings, using hand tools and power tools according to written and oral instructions. Assists in the performance of duties necessary to operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment necessary for producing steam for heat and power of this facility. May be required to respond to security needs of hospital and clinics personnel, patients and visitors. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Arkansas boiler license required.
  • If hired to drive, a valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to teach/instruct and evaluate the learning of new employees.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association, preferred.
  • CARE certification, preferred.
