In the Naval Airborne Systems team within Raytheon Naval Power Business Unit, we support the design and development, and production of Next Generation Jammer product Line.
This position is for an established and productive professional contributor to carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, with theoretical or advanced knowledge. This role requires the ability to interface with suppliers, evaluate problems, use critical thinking to determine solutions and be able to effectively manage issue resolution and corrective actions. This position may have up to 10% travel.
What you will Do:
Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.
Administer and manage high dollar and complex material and service procurements from both domestic and international suppliers, including cost type and letter subcontracts.
Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analyses, conduct negotiations (including terms and conditions) and identify supplier risks.
Ensure that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms, and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Work closely with the program office to identify solutions to sourcing issues that require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
Communicate clearly and be proactive in a very fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.
Assist in the training of peer procurement professionals as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.
Experience placing purchase orders of low to medium complexity and low to medium dollar values.
