05The Team:
The solutions we build leverage cloud technology, DevOps systems, big data solutions, advanced analytics and AIML, advanced workflow solutions and customer portals for our Ratings clients. RT teams cover products across financial asset classes and drive continuous improvements through product innovation and usability. As a member within RT, you will play a key role in the successful buildout of new product initiatives and support for our offerings to our end users.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Designing Data Models in Sql and NoSql databases
Developing SQL code and benchmarking performance metrics
Build data pipelines in java, Scala or Python using microservice design patterns.
Writing unit tests to support code developed
Collaborating with teammates during technical designs
Helping size and groom Agile stories
Participate in team code reviews and trainings
Demo completed work to stakeholders
Deploy completed work to our QA and production environments following our release standards
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Working towards a Bachelors degree in a technical field of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or IT
Fully matriculated students with anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
Strong SQL/data manipulation skills required including cleaning and handling data
Experience using Scala, Python, Java
Willingness to work with unstructured, messy data
Excellent communication skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques, and technologies
The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
