Position Summary:

The Prophet 21 (P21) Technical Developer is responsible for supporting the P21 system implemented in YI. This position will be accountable for managing the regular support and liaising with the business community in resolving issues. This role involves front-line ticket triaging for all P21 issues, collaborating with internal IT personnel to resolve user problems. This role will also play a critical role in managing projects and assisting in the upgrade and maintenance of the Epicor P21 version across the company.

Ideal candidate will have experience with P21 WMS, EDI, APIs, Zebra handhelds, and Microsoft SQL. 

This position will be hybrid. Candidates should be local to the following areas- Chicago IL, Houston TX, Scottsdale AZ, Phoenix AZ. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements and providing both process and technical solutions as required,

• User security setup and maintenance within the P21 application and companion products.

• Observing end users and analyzing their processes, documenting and gathering requirements for potential improvements within the P21 application and companion products.

• Creating customizations and/or building different solutions around user requests in P21.

• Familiarity with P21 API and interfaces with third party applications

• Evaluate, recommend, and execute IT solutions to achieve overall organizational goals, based on the current business model and/or future needs of the business.

• Create and maintain IT Department documentation for an internal Knowledge Base.

• Knowledge of Financials, Procurement, Inventory Management, Planning, and Warehousing areas of the ERP system a plus.

• Develop and implement reports as required by the business community.

• Provide training and support on data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Epicor Prophet21.

• Experience with day-to-day management and administration of the Prophet 21 system.

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, technical environment.

• This role requires a combination of analytical, technical, planning and communication skills.

• Proficient in: .Net / C #, Business Rule development, Dynachange Rules

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Knowledge of data security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC).

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• SSIS/SSRS  

• Crystal Reports

• EDI

• Microsoft SQL Server Admin/DBA skills

Pay Range: $70K - $100K/yr.

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.
