Process Internal Auditor

As a Process Quality Internal Auditor II, you'll conduct and augment internal audit activities of assigned SNC Operations, Engineering and Programs at various SNC locations, and assist in providing oversight and continual improvement to SNC’s Enterprise Quality Management Systems (QMS). These internal auditing activities are used to assess and ensure quality assurance compliance, both internally and externally, per the requirements of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Requirements. You'll be responsible for leading and conducting audits to ensure that all management and employees throughout the Enterprise are in conformance to the company Quality Management System, and to ensure that all activities meet or exceed all business goals, customer/industry/regulatory requirements and SNC process and procedures. You'll support the maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies, and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines. You'll coordinate and develop audit schedules and support the development of audit checklists.

Responsibilities:

• Perform AS9100 audits (and AS9110 if applicable) at DAY
• Conduct desktop audits of process documents
• Represent Quality and act as Liaison for customer/regulatory audits
• Support sub-tier contract audits
• Work with QE on compliance issues
• Support local Operations Management on special projects

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Knowledge and utilization of AS9100, ISO 9001 and other applicable Military and statutory Standards and Specifications.
• Root Cause Analysis experience
• 3+ years audit experience, preferably aviation background
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Certified Auditor or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and database experience
• Statistical analysis
• Participate in external audits as guide
