About the role

<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Production Parts Controller and ERP Manager to oversee the efficient management of production parts and ensure seamless operation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting production schedules, managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring ERP system accuracy and functionality to meet organizational goals.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Production Parts Control</p> <ul><li>Work closely with the procurement team to coordinate the procurement, inventory, and distribution of production parts to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes.</li><li>Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, reducing excess inventory and avoiding shortages.</li><li>Analyse production schedules and forecast parts requirements to align with manufacturing timelines.</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials, resolving supply chain disruptions.</li><li>Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.</li></ul> <p>ERP System Management (Uniconta ERP)</p> <ul><li>Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.</li><li>Ensure accurate data entry and management of part numbers, bills of materials (BOMs), production orders, and inventory records within the ERP system.</li><li>Provide training and support to team members on ERP usage and best practices.</li><li>Identify and resolve ERP system errors or inefficiencies, working closely with IT or external vendors as needed.</li><li>Generate regular and ad hoc reports from the ERP system to support decision-making across production and supply chain teams.</li></ul> <p>Process Optimization</p> <ul><li>Develop and implement processes to streamline production parts control and ERP-related workflows.</li><li>Lead initiatives to reduce lead times, improve supplier performance, and enhance cost efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure end-to-end operational excellence</li></ul> <p>Compliance and Reporting</p> <ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.</li><li>Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory status, production parts availability, and ERP performance to senior management</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in production parts control, supply chain management, or ERP systems within the automotive or manufacturing industry, preferably low volume, high value production.<br/> <br/> </li></ul> <p>Specifik Skills and Competencies</p> <ul><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably smaller systems such as Uniconta, Monitor etc or general ERP e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Knowledge of low volume, high value automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain operations is highly desirable.</li></ul> <p>Certifications (Preferred)</p> <ul><li>APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).</li><li>ERP-specific certifications, such as SAP Certification or Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification.</li></ul> <p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</strong></p> <ul><li>Inventory accuracy and stock turnover ratesOn-time delivery of production parts</li><li>ERP system uptime and user adoption rates</li><li>Reduction in procurement lead times and costs.</li><li>Overall production schedule adherence.</li></ul> <p><strong>Come and join the Zenvo family:</strong></p> <p>Want to work for one of the most exciting, growing automotive brands in the world?
