PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Portfolio & Value Team is part of the Customer and Partner organization, focused on analyzing value of initiatives for SAP. Our vision is to enable value-based decisions for SAP. For this purpose, we are incorporating various technologies and techniques with a core focus on process and data analysis.
Through our work, we enable the business of SAP to take intelligent decisions based on facts and data. We support efforts to bring transparency into design vs execution of business processes.
We closely collaborate with teams across SAP, including Executive Offices, Delivery Units and Process Management, to drive efficiency and maximize the value of our delivery. 
We welcome all applicants that show curiosity, are keen about making a difference to SAP by analyzing value of initiatives, projects, use cases from various areas of the business, submitted to the Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) Portfolio Backlog.

To support our Portfolio and Value team, we are looking for a working student.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

• Support the implementation of the new Operational Governance Model „Scalable Success Management” and support to drive process execution across relevant teams
• Support to ensure governance alignment and documentation, and support to facilitate adoption through close stakeholder collaboration
• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of a centralized success management repository using Microsoft Office 365 (Power BI)
• Dashboard creation, reporting & storytelling

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• University degree in one of the following areas: Design, Economics or similar
• Strong conceptual thinking, analytical skills and problem solving
• Background in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Scrum) and Microsoft Office 365
• Fluency in German and English both spoken and written is mandatory
• Experience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong experience in PowerPoint presentation creation, design, UX and working with Exce
• The position is posted for Walldorf, Germany; working from Walldorf office is required

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 

• Ideally has completed internship(s) or working student jobs in a similar field
• Experienced in working with multicultural teams
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently  
• Should be available for minimum of 6 months
