Benesch is proud to announce the opening for a Financial IS Systems Manager in our Cleveland office! This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.

Position Summary:

Do you have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or ERP systems? Do you have experience with Aderant accounting software, SQL and PowerBI? Are you proficient in Aderatnt Classic and Aderant Expert user interfaces and table structures?  Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your HRIS experience with your financial acumen? Are you looking to take your career in project and change management to the next level? Then the Financial IS Systems Manager position may be what you're looking for! This position is the perfect union of accounting, IS and business administration.

This Financial Systems Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Firm's financial systems by providing data and end-user support and ensuring the data integrity of financial information.

Essential Functions:

1. Supports Aderant applications (Classic, Expert Billing, BillBlast, Expert Rates, Expert, EA Pro, etc) and other integrated systems (Intapp Time, BillStream, Emburse Expense, Emburse Invoice, EIDynamics, BigHand, BigSquare, etc) used by the Finance Team.

2. Provides end user support, training and documentation.

3. Maintains security of applications.

4. Assists with implementing and upgrading applications, including validating business functions after installations, patches, etc are completed by vendors or the IT Team.

5. Customizes applications as necessary including:

• Employee management tasks/user access administration
• Mass updates in Aderant via SQL
• Monthly & annual rate changes for all standard, exception & variable rates
• Updating bill images when document modifications are made

6. Provides data and reports for Finance and other internal users using various tools such as SQL, SSRS, Aderant Expert, Excel, Power BI including writing SQL queries for Management Studio users (weekly time reports, compliance reports for FP&A, Client Value reports, Billing reports).

7. Works with managers in Finance to identify issues and make corrections to processes or data, and implements appropriate standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy of firm reporting and client information reporting.

8. Provides support to internal and external vendors by being the initial point of contact for Aderant and other finance system users' support concerns and following the issues through to completion.

9. Develops and/or enhances financial system business administration and support policies, procedures, and documentation.
