About this role:

CyberArk is seeking a Director, Brand & Thought Leadership to elevate CyberArk’s profile as a leader and innovator in identity security. In this role, you’ll be the primary brand champion and steward for CyberArk, leading the development and management of CyberArk’s corporate branding and ensuring that the brand is well represented across all materials, programs and channels. You’ll oversee brand strategy and development; brand advertising, thought leadership, editorial strategy, and our blog and podcast channels. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure a consistent brand experience across every touch point. You’ll help CyberArk stand out with clever and distinctive creative execution. You’ll drive brand awareness and influence through content and thought leadership.

 

What you will do:

• Lead brand strategy initiatives that enhance our brand positioning in the marketplace, including brand identity, brand guidelines, and value proposition, which encompass the overall vision and goals of the company.
• Drive brand initiatives that contribute to a cohesive market presence, including messaging frameworks, advertising and other top of the funnel campaigns across key global markets
• Work closely with key leaders to support their messaging needs and stories internally and externally.
• Ensure consistent experiences across CyberArk’s owned channels (website, social properties, customer experience centers, tradeshows and conferences, and user experience in-product)
• Curate, architect and promulgate centralized brand assets
• Implement an efficient brand governance process and workflows that facilitate the function as a shared-service resource for the company
• Craft differentiated stories in the market using customer, partner and research content
• Gather data on external brand performance using multiple approaches (including share of voice, power of voice, quantitative and qualitative methods) and communicate brand progress through reports and dashboards
• Communicate with functional leaders and executives to inform their understanding of how various audiences perceive the brand and messaging in key geographies
• Manage a team responsible for thought leadership, copywriting and blog/podcast channels

 

How you will stand out from the crowd:

• 12 or more years in BtoB brand marketing or similar experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience
• Expertise in defining and executing narratives that are differentiated and newsworthy
• Prior global brand strategy and governance experience, including management of budgets/resources
• Brand architecture experience, including integration of brands consistently in a merger, an acquisition or a new-product growth scenario
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
• Exceptional written and verbal skills - able to persuade with insights and defend assumptions.
• Demonstrated success influencing C-level executives 

 

Preference for the role to be based (hybrid) in Newton, MA.
