MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university which includes three (3) courses in an agricultural, physical, biological or natural science.
Professional experience in agriculture, food distribution/processing/production, regulatory inspections, maintenance of mechanical devices, customer service, or in a quality control program can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

Foreign trained graduates utilizing a degree attained outside of the United States to meet the minimum requirements of a position must be prepared to provide a copy of a credential evaluation conducted by an Approved Credential Evaluation Agency. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Authorized Certification Official for Federal Phytosanitary Certification.
Public Applicator’s License: must obtain restricted-use pesticide license within six months of initial employment and must maintain licensure thereafter.
This position has regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of s. 112.313, Florida Statutes, and Section 60L-36.003, Florida Administrative Code.
Frequent travel, including overnight and sometimes up to two weeks at a time on an emergency program, required.
