WestLand is adding a friendly and resourceful Senior Human Resources Generalist to our team! This role will be based out of our Tucson, AZ office. In this role, you will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities to include administration and interpretation of our policies and procedures, HR data analysis and reporting, employee relations, supporting the recruitment onboarding cycle, leader partnership, succession planning, and project management. You will work closely with the rest of the WestLand HR team, along with our Pillar and Corporate counterparts, to ensure there is smooth communication and administration of our HR programs with all our employees.

What will I be doing?

• Advising internal clients on HR policies and industry best practices in the areas of employee relations, market trends, succession planning, and leadership coaching.
• Compiling and analyzing HR data for reports or to present directly to internal stakeholders. These include HR metrics, annual salary cycle exercises, and HR surveys.
• Creating, entering, maintaining, and/or auditing HR related files and other system information.
• Assisting in creating and executing on human resources programs and procedures from both internal models and corporate roll outs.
• Supporting recruitment efforts including scheduling, interviewing, downselect, offer and onboarding.
• Working with Corporate HR and other members of the WestLand HR team to ensure effective downstream of support in the areas of benefits, leave, broader recruiting efforts, etc.

What qualifications are required for this role?

• Bachelor's degree required. Additional years of experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
• Strong Arizona labor law familiarity required, Western US region knowledge preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook).
• Experience with Vantagepoint, ADP, and benefit systems a plus.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

The salary range for this position is $79,000 - $90,000 annually.
