About the role

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to help drive business operations and strategic programs for a newly created org? The newly created AWS Field Experiences org is responsible for delivering tools, analytics, and experiences for the 60k+ AWS Field organization, spread across all geos and diverse roles, using a combination of best-of-breed external and purpose built internal tools. We are seeking an innovative, passionate, results-oriented leader who will partner with the STO to manage the business operations for this org.

We’re looking for a tenacious self-starter with attention to detail to help 1/ drive the rhythm of the business operations 2/ run programs to engage our customers (AWS's Field organization) for product feedback through field advisory board), and 3/ engage a 900+ person org on events, demos, and cross-team activities. You should have a passion for sales automation and GTM - this is an opportunity to help deliver delightful experiences for the diverse AWS Field. You should have strong writing skills, be a natural collaborator, an ability to technically dive deep, work with development, product management and sales operations teams, and Invent and Simplify to create scalable mechanisms. You must have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering solutions to address those needs.

Key job responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating activities, helping the overall success of the business and team. Involves working with multiple internal stakeholders, product teams, and STOs
  • Coordinate engagement with stakeholders in sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Drive working backwards plans for business and operational reviews, goals, OP1s, etc.
  • Responsible for delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly business reporting

About the team
We are building up a new organization - and you will have the opportunity to help shape the team and deliver results that can have a positive impact on AWS GTM activity.

Basic Qualifications


  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in Product Management, Business Operations, Analytics, etc.
  • Proven experience with the development and implementation of business processes
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
  • Experience leading the development of department strategy
  • Deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
