Summary:
The Division of Agriculture is seeking applicants for three Associate District Director positions to work in one of the following districts: Delta, Ouachita, or Ozark.

The Associate District Director will assist the District Director in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Extension programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development and Community, Professional and Economic Development. This position will assist the District Director in administrative leadership as assigned to counties within their respective district.

Each position will report to their respective District Director. Each position is located within their respective district in a county Extension office or other UADA facility.

Job Details:
Program Planning

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the social, economic, political, and cultural characteristics of the counties within the assigned district.

Assist District Director and county staff to ensure through the program planning process that long range programs are developed; and through continuous analysis and review, goals are adjusted to meet changing conditions and needs within the counties.

Assist District Director in supervising and counseling county faculty in developing annual Plan of Work with well-defined objectives.

Assist District Director and county staff with the organization and maintenance of sub committees and other organizations within the counties working to promote the work and mission of Extension.

Collaborate with Assistant Vice Presidents and state specialists for assistance in keeping county staff supplied with current program information and program ideas.
