Vehicle Detailer (PT)

Georgia Military College Engineering department has an opening for a Part Time Vehicle Detailer.

The vehicle detailer performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance servicing of all vehicles, golf carts, buses, and equipment. Focuses on preparing fleet vehicles for daily use by ensuring they are fueled, cleaned, and checked for serviceability. Identifies and reports maintenance deficiencies and/or issues to Fleet Coordinator/Vehicle Scheduling and Motor Pool Maintenance Manager.

*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Education:

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, valid Georgia drivers license

Preferred Level:Commercial Drivers License including P/S endorsements

Experience:

Minimum Required: 3 years driving experience and basic vehicle maintenance background

Preferred Level: 5 years driving experience and operating buses or trucks

Skills:

Minimum Required: Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical and safety related vehicle issues. Ability to safely operate automobiles and larger vehicles

Preferred Level: 3 years basic vehicle servicing and mechanic background
