Responsibilities 

• Design a scalable and high performing IT Architecture with consideration for database, backend, front end and deployment to enable communication with our client's power plants in real-time, using the following tech stack : Python (Flask, SQL Alchemy, etc. ), MSSQL/PostgreSQL, Open API, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Develop and test modular back end services, REST API end points and performance database structure for our Automation and optimization SaaS product "Hydrogrid Insight". 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technologies and propose new idea to improve our service and IT Architecture even further. 
• Review code of your colleagues to maintain a four-eyes principle for all deployed code
• Mentor Junior developers in the team by guarding the code quality and helping them make Architecture design decision.
• Become part of our agile software engineering team (SCRUM) and take an active role in leading software development. 

Requirements

• You have technical education related to Computer Science ( BSc or Higher) 
• You have 5 years or more of experience in Professional software development with excellent skills using Python, Open API and SQL.
• You have strong experience in writing scalable back end applications, including refactoring and tooling. 
• You have experience in setting up and executing quality assurance including testing, documentation and code reviewing. 
• Dealing with agile development methods and modern development tools is part of your daily routine
• You have experience an interest in mentoring junior colleagues. 
• High level of problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks 
• Fluency in English is essential, other languages are a plus.
