PSE's Legal team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst position!

Job Description
The Sr. Regulatory Compliance Analyst is responsible for generating and managing critical regulatory compliance reports, including Gas Pipeline Safety, NERC, and PHMSA drug and alcohol reporting. The position manages FERC SOC related responsibilities including training, potential noncompliance investigations, and reporting. The Analyst provides support on employee training on applicable requirements and monitors federal and state regulations, orders and rules to stay informed of current and changning requirements.

Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates and prepares accurate and timely regulatory compliance reports, including Gas Pipeline Safety, NERC, and PHMSA drug and alcohol reports.
- Coordinates and prepares internal monthly compliance snapshot reports for Gas Pipeline Safety and NERC.
- Manages FERC SOC related responsibilities and associated reporting requirements.
- Coordinates, prepares, and submits accurate and timely gas incident reports to the Washington State Utility Commission.
- Maintains strict adherence to regulatory submission deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Analyzes and identifies trends and issues from reports and dashboards to recommend further investigation and root cause analysis.
- Provides support in the planning, development and implementation of programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provides support in developing training programs to ensure employees are knowledgeable about regulatory compliance issues and conducts necessary training.
- Coordinates with compliance personnel in other departments to meet compliance standards and timelines.
- Establishes and maintains database of all compliance materials including report templates, documentation guidelines and training materials.
- Responds in a timely manner to day-to-day requests from business units on compliance matters in coordination with the immediate supervisor or manager.
- Provides support and maintenance of department website.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, and finance, engineering or applicable field, and five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills including ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new and upgraded computerized systems to job responsibilities, including use of software tracking mechanism for compliance issues, word-processing, spreadsheets and presentation programs.
- Understanding of federal and state rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access, or other database applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Utility experience or compliance experience in other regulated industry.
- Understanding of utility operations and regulations.
- Experience in PowerBl, SAP, Sharepoint, Microsoft 365, and Archer GRC.
- Familiarity with NERC or Gas Pipeline Safety compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of PHMSA reporting requirements and FERC SOC protocols.
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting and deadline management.

The pay range for this position is $79,200.00 - $131,700.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
