Position Summary:

The Control Systems group is made up of a diverse team of engineers covering software, systems, electronics, mechanical. We work closely together in the design, integration, testing, in-service support and supply chain management to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Control Systems at Rolls-Royce is an integral part of making sure the power and propulsion systems we produce meet customer requirements and uphold quality, safety and security standards. The various teams design and maintain the software and hardware that support the power and propulsion systems deployed around the world. 

Controls Systems simulation Team:  Responsible for the electronic, software, and system design for the real-time testers and supporting infrastructure that have the capability to simulate power and propulsion systems, airframes interfaces, and environment. 

What you’ll be doing:

Supported by a Senior Engineer, you’ll get to work on projects to support our customers in software and systems covering design and integration.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems using analytical and critical thinking

  • Ability to identify problems and plan and execute tasks

  • Good written and oral communication to a variety of audiences (e.g., team members, technical experts and management)

  • Strong presentation skills - both oral and visual

Relevant majors:

Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor's degree or higher in:

  • Software

  • Electronics

  • Computer

  • Systems

  • Computer Science

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Work authorization eligibility: To be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen.
