About the role

<p><span>The Line Technician requires the ability to maintain all equipment within their assigned department in order to maintain required production levels under minimal supervision. </span></p> <p><strong><u>This shift is Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM. The person in this role will work 36 hours but will get paid for 40 hours.</u></strong></p> <p><strong><span>Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Assist with equipment setups, adjustments, and installations using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and devices. </span></li> <li><span>Efficiently perform tasks/preventative maintenance on machinery in assigned department, with a medium degree of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and programmable logical control boards and languages. </span></li> <li><span>Ability to accurately perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery as required per establish PM programs and complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.</span></li> <li><span>Keep supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly.</span></li> <li><span>Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.</span></li> <li><span>Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual. </span></li> <li><span>Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</span></li> <li><span>Some Technical or Trade school preferred.</span></li> <li><span>Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.</span></li> <li><span>1-2 years of working in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably working with industrial machinery.</span></li> <li><span>Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.</span></li> <li><span>Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.</span></li> <li><span>Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift.</span></li> </ul>
