Position Summary
The Senior Swim Team Coach helps to develop coaches at all locations of their team. They will develop positive relationships with swimmers and members and promote programs in order to generate more participation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in developing and assessing coaches at all satellite locations of the team
- Ensures execution of the Life Time Swim Team Playbook consistently across all satellite locations of the team.
- Holds 1 on 1 calls with Head Site Coaches, Area Coach, Managers, Regional Manager, Area Lead and Swim Team Program Manager; participates in monthly calls with Area Coach
- Serves as the Head Coach of home site and attends all meets that swimmers at their site participate in
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a coaching or similar role
- USA Swimming Certification
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.
- Ability to positively mentor coaches in order to develop and support the satellite model
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate complex issues or scenarios to those with less swim team experience
- Ability to bring together diverse groups of individuals for the express purpose of supporting and growing the program
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Swim Lessons experience
- Customer Service experience
- Member of ASCA
Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $45,000.00 and pays up to $60,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
