The Product Cybersecurity Incident Governance Lead will support and collaborate with the Product Cybersecurity Incident Response (PCIR) Director to manage cybersecurity incidents affecting RTX products. This role is crucial for developing and refining the governance framework, ensuring RTX's readiness against cybersecurity threats, and enhancing product security through continuous improvement and adherence to standards set by NIST, FAA, and other stakeholders.
This position is a full-time remote position and would consider candidates located anywhere in the United States within 50 miles of a Raytheon facility.
What You Will Do
Incident Response Governance: Establish and refine a governance framework to manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents effectively.
Incident Management Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective management of cybersecurity incidents.
Post-Incident Analysis: Conduct detailed reviews post-incident to capture lessons learned and integrate these insights into the Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
Strategic Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to align incident response activities with regulatory standards and enhance interdepartmental information flow.
Travel Requirement: Up to 20% travel, including potential international trips, to support incident response efforts and team coordination.
Attend onsite meetings as required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI level clearance
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or related field and 10+ years of experience
Experience with Cybersecurity Governance
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Cybersecurity Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications preferred.
Experience in cybersecurity incident response activities.
Strong background in engineering execution and experience in collaborating across functions
Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks/projects in a disciplined and organized fashion while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members, some of which may be geographically distributed.
