We're looking for an experienced Sr. Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Federal) to join our ZPA team.

This role requires Secret Security Clearance that you must maintain throughout employment. A Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification is also required, but you can get that within your first few weeks of employment. Reporting to the Senior Manager SRE, you will:

• Oversee operational tasks for FedRAMP cloud products, including deployments, on-call duties, and incident management. This includes participate in regular deployment sync meetings and operational hand-offs.
• Manage all cloud infrastructure components, such as AWS GovCloud, private cloud environments, containers, and VMs.
• Develop operations documentation, handle escalations, and implement measures to prevent recurring incidents, while contributing to DevOps best practices.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Over 5 years of Site Reliability Engineering experience in both Operations and Engineering environments.
• Extensive experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring, including vulnerability scanning, evaluation, patching, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Skilled in Python coding, container-based architectures (AWS ECS, Kubernetes), and knowledgeable in virtualization, cloud services, web security, and networking protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL).

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs (scanning, evaluating, patching, and reporting on environment vulnerabilities).
• Experience with container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes)
• Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification. If you do not have it you'll complete the certification within a few weeks of employment.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$136,500—$195,000 USD
