Pharmacy Technician-Order Entry (340B)

Overview

 

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technician Order Entry to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. This opportunity has a Monday-Friday shift with working hours from 7am- 4pm! 

 

The Pharmacy Technician-Order Entry shall be responsible for the following in addition to normal Order Entry Technician Duties:

·         Being the point of contact/liaison for Order Entry questions or concerns from other areas

·         Preparing the daily duty schedule for other Order Entry technicians

·         Managing the Order Entry process

·         Keeping the pharmacy orders mailbox maintained

·         Overseeing the Order Entry portion of the Auto-ship process

·         Make sure that medication storage areas are scanned monthly for out-of-date products/cards

 

Position Requirements:

·     Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

·     Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field such as wholesale, drug, or medical supply distribution.

·     Active registration as a technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.

·     PTCB certification is a plus.
