Our Role:

Prudential Private Capital’s Atlanta Corporate Finance team is seeking a Senior Investment Associate who will play a critical role in sourcing, underwriting and management of investments. In this role, the Senior Investment Associate will have the opportunity to leverage existing background and career experiences, while also developing a unique blend of skills involving financial analysis spanning the capital structure, direct transaction sourcing, structuring, and negotiating new senior debt, subordinated debt and structured equity transactions. PPC’s clients range from large multi-national public companies to smaller privately held companies.

Your Impact:

  • Business development/transaction origination:  Generating new deal flow through direct calling on CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers, intermediaries and sponsors.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to make investment decisions in companies and projects
  • Negotiating terms of investments and assisting in structuring and documentation of new transactions

Your Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree with a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative subjects
  • 4+  years of investment, investment banking or similar experience or project/structured finance is a plus
  • Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with the capital markets (knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodologies)
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The annual base salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $110,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
