In this unique role, you'll combine team-wide data architecture responsibilities with hands-on solution architecture in one of our key domains - making a strategic impact from day one.</strong></span></p> <p><span>As our new Solution &amp; Data Architect, you will join our Marketing &amp; Innovation (M&amp;I) Agile Release Train (ART) within Arla IT—a dynamic organization of over 500 colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Poland, and the UK. The M&amp;I ART is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT and digital solutions to support Arla’s marketing and innovation departments </span></p> <p><strong><span>How you will make an impact</span></strong><span><br/>As a Solution &amp; Data Architect, you will integrate your expertise  to shape the future of our data and solution architecture in the M&amp;I ART. You will set the strategic direction for data architecture and empower our team of data engineers, data scientists, and Power BI developers. Simultaneously, as a solution architect, you will ensure that our solutions are designed and built to meet the highest standards. In both capacities, you’ll address diverse business needs, set technical direction, and deliver innovative, architecture-aligned solutions while keeping technologies and platforms up to date.</span></p> <p><u><span>More specifically, you will</span></u><strong><span>:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Create and maintain solution designs, ensuring that we build solutions the right way, according to current standards and guidelines.</span></li> <li><span>Hold architecture responsibility within your area, including maintaining IT landscape, target architecture, roadmaps, and security.</span></li> <li><span>Understand diverse business needs, demonstrate strong solution insight, set the technical direction, and communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders.</span></li> <li><span>Break down and estimate complex tasks enabling effective collaboration within agile teams</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>The position is based at our headquarter in Viby, Aarhus.</span></p> <p><strong><span><br/>What will make you successful?</span></strong><span><br/>Your success in this role comes from blending data and solution architecture expertise with strong stakeholder management. You stay ahead by embracing emerging technologies and adapting them to business needs, while making complex ideas clear and actionable. You are a collaborative professional who builds trust across IT, business units, and project teams, aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly organised and proactive, you coordinate multiple initiatives, drive alignment, and deliver solutions that balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail.</span></p> <p><span><u>To succeed in this role, we expect you to have</u>:</span></p> <ul> <li><span>A solid proven technical background as an IT/Data Architect or Developer/Solution Architect with +3 years of work experience</span></li> <li><span>Strong knowledge in Data Architecture concepts, including Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, ETL pipelines, and Data Integration</span></li> <li><span>Understanding of databases and big data related technologies, such as SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks</span></li> <li><span>Experience with solution development, cloud, integration technologies, APIs, and business intelligence</span></li> <li><span>English language skills on a business level is a requirement</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span>What do we offer?<br/></span></strong><span>You will join an international department where you will be working closely with both IT and business colleagues across our markets worldwide.
