Director, Supply Chain

Title: Director, Supply ChainHiring Manager: VP of Supply Chain
As the Director, Supply Chain, you will own the Dexterity all commercial aspects with the current and future Dex supplier and CM ecosystem worldwide. In addition, you will help build a world class supply chain team at Dex worldwide to support the business as it ramps in the coming years. You will work closely with various stakeholders including hardware design teams, Asia supply chain partners, Dex in-house product and assembly teams to maintain tight timelines and ensure that hardware is available in a timely manner to support the ramp. You will be a key leader in achieving cost targets and scale with our suppliers and CMs. You will negotiate long term supply agreements with our strategic partners and be the go to person for all supplier commercial topics.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):●       Build, manage, mentor and sustain a world class supply chain team worldwide●       Negotiate prices and supply agreements with all the key suppliers and CMs, build should costing models working closely with NPI and engineering teams at Dexterity●       Set the supply chain vision for Dexterity worldwide, and build a world class team of supply chain managers, buyers worldwide to support Dexterity growth●       Own the supply chain metrics and dashboards for Dexterity and executive communication●       Own the costed BOM for all Dexterity hardware and roadmaps as we scale to higher volumes●       Frequent visits to key suppliers and ensure that cost reduction activities are prioritized during the ramp.●       Identify new suppliers to ensure that we have a robust dual source strategy and supply chain capacity does not become a bottleneck during the ramp●       Achieve target costs of Hardware working closely with all key stakeholders (Dexterity engineering, operations, CMs, )
 Skills:●      BS/MS in Supply Chain Management or Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, with deep experience in supply chain●      10+ year’s experience in supply chain in a very fast paced high tech environment ●      Proven track record of negotiating complex supply agreements with suppliers and CMs and good cost negotiations skills●      Proven leadership skills in building and sustaining teams and working with high technology teams worldwide●      Excellent negotiation skills and deep understanding of hardware cost drivers●      Expertise in robotic automation systems preferred
