Role Summary
SuccessKPI is seeking a Senior Technical Program Director to bring discipline, predictability, and transparency to our product delivery ecosystem. This role exists to eliminate misalignment across Product, Engineering, QA, Security, and Platform teams by establishing clear ownership, enforceable processes, and a single source of truth from planning through production.
This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role with principal-level influence. You will not simply facilitate ceremonies; you will own delivery integrity, hold teams and leaders accountable to commitments, and ensure that quality, security, and stability are never sacrificed for speed.
If you thrive in complex, multi-team environments, are comfortable pushing back with data, and have successfully transformed chaotic delivery systems into predictable, high-trust operating models, this role is for you.
What You’ll Own
Delivery Ownership & Predictability
- Own end-to-end delivery execution across multiple engineering teams, ensuring every sprint and release has:
- Clear scope
- Identified dependencies
- Accountable owners
- Realistic delivery plans
- Establish and publish a weekly delivery scorecard (commit vs. delivered, carryover, blockers, risk).
- Reduce delivery variance and last-minute surprises through disciplined planning and scope control.
Cross-Team & Cross-Geo Alignment
- Lead Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and a highly effective Scrum of Scrums.
- Surface and resolve dependencies across Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Integration, WFM, Real Time, and Platform teams.
- Maintain a unified sprint calendar and roadmap view for all stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent operating cadence and communication across U.S. and India-based teams.
Process Enforcement (Agile, SDLC & Release Governance)
- Define and enforce:
- Definition of Ready (DoR)
- Definition of Done (DoD)
- Sprint Scope Freeze
- Controlled hotfix and escalation paths
- Ensure releases follow auditable, repeatable paths, including:
- Code review
- Automated testing
- QA sign-off
- Product-owned UAT approval
- Escalate scope creep, readiness gaps, or delivery risk early, with data
Tooling & Metrics Governance
- Own Jira and GitLab governance to ensure tools enforce behavior, not bypass it.
- Standardize Jira configurations across teams and implement Jira Vers
