Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Civil 3D Modeler shall coordinate with Design Engineers and Assistant Engineers/ Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of drawings and models (2D &amp; 3D).</li><li>Typically reports to Associate (D2)/Principal (D1).</li></ul><p>Supporting the Civil and Infrastructure teams in the role of a Civil 3D modeler with a strong background in software and awareness of the BIM requirements on infrastructure projects.</p><ol><li>Will be responsible for working with the team in the production of technical drawings and models for the various infrastructure projects including wet and dry utilities primarily on roads.</li><li>The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision and to ensure commitment to the team for the timely delivery of projects.</li><li>Sound knowledge of the modeling aspects of the various infrastructure services including gravity and pressurized services, both wet and dry utilities, with experience in clash detection using Navisworks; preparation of service corridor drawings in line with the authority requirements; awareness of BIM modeling procedure; production of plan and profile and cross-section drawings and other relevant technical models and drawings up to IFC level.</li><li>Develop and grow within Ramboll’s Technical Support Groups driving innovation, new technologies and techniques</li></ol><h3>Qualifications</h3><ol><li>Experience 5+ years, Experience in the Middle East is a must.</li><li>Demonstrated experience and proficiency in industry standard software including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, BIM, Clash Detection tools such as Navisworks, etc., or equivalent software tools. Basic knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage.</li></ol><p>Qualification – diploma or degree in Civil Engineering</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><ol><li>Enthusiastic &amp; creative personality – demonstrating a desire to develop and grow within the company.</li><li>Comfortable in client presentations, report writing and work proactively on a project.</li><li>Demonstrates additional learning/achievements either through Engineering Institutes or through Academic/Research.</li><li>Innovative and creative in problem solving and adaptable to changes from the Client, Ramboll and market environments.
