Cost Commercial Lead - Data Center Construction Project

Company Description

Turner & Townsend, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a Commercial Lead to work on a data center build project in Milan, Italy.

As the Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for protecting the client's interests from a commercial standpoint, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial leadership and advice to the project team, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget
• Ensure that commercial risks are identified and mitigated, and that the client's interests are protected
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other legal documents with the client and suppliers
• Manage the project budget and ensure that costs are controlled
• Monitor progress against the project plan, identify variances and take appropriate corrective action
• Provide regular reports to the project team and client on the project's commercial performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of commercial management experience, preferably in the construction or data center industry
• Experience in contract negotiation, commercial risk management, and budget control
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers
• Fluency in English and Italian
