This job serves our retail customers by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills, best in class product knowledge and mastery of operational processes in myriad formats throughout the Health Care System. Responsible for engaging customers with friendly greetings and asks open ended qualifying questions that will lead to product recommendations and demonstrations. Additionally, the job maintains store standards by setting planograms, replenishing shelves, cleaning merchandise areas and performing operational tasks when not engaged with customers.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education
Preferred - High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Required - 2 years Sales experience
Experience setting priorities effectively and using resources available.
Experience working as an influential team player who can also work independently.
Preferred- 1 year experience with selling in a specialty retail format
Knowledge and experience in Over the Counter, Durable Medical Equipment, Medical Uniforms online sale and mobile point of sale systems
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
- Experience setting priorities effectively and using the resources available
- Experience working as an influential team player who can also work independently
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems and operational tasks to support the retail customer experience
- Capable of merchandise fixtures given a planogram with product
- Must be a results and sales driven individual who enjoys engaging customers in a retail environment
- Good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Maintains expert product knowledge of both company inventory items and competitor brands
- Meets or exceeds Sales Productivity Metrics.
- Maintains a best in class retail experience.
- Executes promotional strategy and validates proper collateral is in place and removed in a timely manner.
- Develops and maintains key internal customer accounts.
- Coordinates and hosts sales events.
