About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing real estate investment organization. This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, with a strong focus on accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment and enjoys being hands-on in the day-to-day financial operations of a growing portfolio.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPPerform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisPartner with internal teams to support property-level and corporate accounting needsCoordinate with external auditors and assist with audit requestsMaintain strong internal controls and continuously identify opportunities for process improvementSupport special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track a plus)4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, or investment managementStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with general ledger systems and advanced Excel skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyComfortable working in a fully onsite, collaborative office environment
