Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete cycle counts for inventory control
• Use hand tools and power tools to create shipping containers.
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in Shipping and/or Warehouse environment

Previous experience in a Customer Service Role

Fork Truck Operation

Ability to effectively communicate, in writing and orally

Precise attention to detail
