Job Description
rightspeed is looking for a Project Manager to join our team! This position will be part of the Centralized Engineering & Construction Support team. As a Project Manager, You will be responsible for various program/project management assignments ranging from; Fiber Overbuild deployment, Fiber to the Tower, Vendor oversight, Enterprise & Wholesale milestone management, right of way, joint use, permitting, process development, training & communication and compliance to process.
The position will be a key part of the Engineering and Construction team that will collaboratively manage complex and long duration type projects. This role requires strong business acumen, the abilities to define and implement groundbreaking ideas, to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact, and desire to have an industry wide impact.
As a Project Manager Engineering & Construction your responsibilities will include:
- Lead project management for Engineering and Construction organization and lead cross-functional teams with others.
- Oversee development and monitoring of engineering and construction build plans across various network types
- Track milestone activities for highly complex projects/programs across multiple lines of business both internal and external
- Ensure projects meet network readiness dates within budget allotments.
- Research, remove and manage network build roadblocks associated with Right of Way, Leases or Contractual interpretation via internal Brightspeed resource, external vendor resources or government bodies.
- Maintain contractual obligations and reoccurring invoices to vendor partners.
- Coordinate & create work schedules to ensure on time delivery both internal workforce and contracted vendors.
- Drive actionable data analysis and facilitate action based on data working with IT, Business, and vendors
- Analyze, define, and own Centralized Engineering and Construction current and future state processes.
- Collaborates with network leadership and business domain leadership to design and implement future state processes that achieve program goals, and end-to-end process engineering objectives.
- Analyze, capture, and interrupt Geographic Information System (GIS) and related IQGeo data.
- Communicate training-based communications, flash documents, M&Ps and related job aids to numerous stakeholders and their teams

Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- 5+ years Telecommunication experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience
- Telecommunication experience
- Creating documents and supporting large organizations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relationship-builder and strong listening skills
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft, Adobe, and related systems
- Ability to build a cohesive relationship with multiple departments through training, development, and accountability.
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Master's degree and/or related work experience
- Knowledgeable of SAP, Fireworks, LeaseNet, BidMaster, JDS, WFMT, NDS, CLM, APO, and IQGeo
