Digital Products Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for driving the development and execution of integration solutions leveraging Boomi, while adhering to Scrum methodology and utilizing Jira for task tracking and project management.

This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to define integration strategies, optimize processes, and deliver high-quality integration solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration platforms, agile processes, and product management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Integration Strategy & Roadmap:
  Define and manage the integration product roadmap with a focus on Boomi-based solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into integration features and user stories.

• Backlog Management:
  Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in Jira, ensuring the team is focused on delivering high-impact integration features. Work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure the team is meeting sprint goals and objectives.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of integration features. Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to align priorities and resolve issues.

• Agile Processes:
  Lead the Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for the integration team. Ensure that the team adheres to agile best practices and that the integration features are developed iteratively with a focus on continuous improvement.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Experience with Boomi: Proven experience with Boomi (Dell Boomi) integration platform or other similar middleware tools for integration projects.
• Agile Methodology & Scrum: Strong understanding of Scrum methodology, with experience running Scrum ceremonies, managing backlogs, and leading cross-functional teams through agile product development.
• Jira: Extensive experience with Jira to manage product backlogs, track sprints, and monitor project progress.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technical concepts related to APIs, system integrations, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
• Deep understanding of integration concepts (APIs, RESTful, SOAP, web services, middleware).
• Experience with Dell Boomi integration platform, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting of integrations.
• Understanding of security and data compliance requirements related to integrations (e.g., data privacy laws, encryption standards).
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and offer innovative solutions.
• Ability to create detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field is required.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product management role with a focus on systems integration
• Proven experience with Boomi (Dell Boomi) or similar integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica etc.)
• Strong experience using JIRA for project management, task tracking and agile develpment.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 3 - 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in integration or technical product management.

 

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES

Professional certification may be required in some areas.
