Minimum Qualifications
- Must have two years of experience in home health care industry OR possess a professional license (Social worker, OT/A, PT/A)
- Recent leadership or management experience preferred.
- Competence in basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow past current position.
Summary:
- Participate in new hire orientations of assistive personnel and client-specific orientations to client care, safety precautions, procedures and treatments, documentation, and BAYADA policies and practices – both in the office and home, as applicable.
- Interview new clients to review and initiate the service plan provided by the contract service coordinator.
- Making regular client visits, as per policy. Supervising assistive personnel through in-home visits and review of documentation to ensure services meet state supervisory requirements and obtain feedback and ensure client and employee satisfaction.
- Providing feedback to employees including recognition, and counseling. Assisting in regular field staff performance evaluations with interdisciplinary management team input.
- Providing complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in the client chart, home chart, and computer system.
- Develop community relationships and participate in outreach activities.
- Maintain effective fiscal management of caseload while in office- manage payroll and billing of client caseload.
- Obtain insurance confirmation, authorization from third party payors by communicating with internal BAYADA offices (ICO, CMO, MCO, FIN), third party payors, clients, and Clinical Managers.
- Using judgment and discretion, effectively schedule staff, coordinate client services and manage caseload.
- Perform related duties, or as required or requested by Director and/or Clinical Leader.
- Together, with the entire office staff, answer phones, greet visitors, and generate correspondence as necessary for office needs.
Requirements:
- This position will be in the field and in office- applicant must be able and willing to travel to servicing counties.
- Must be flexible with schedule and adapt to change easily.
