Job Description:

Schedule:  Monday - Friday with overtime as applicable.

*2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Work Location: 20-01 Broadway; Fair Lawn, N.J. 07410​

Benefits: Based on Union Contract Provisions ​

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:  $21.00 per hour. Based upon Union Contract Provisions. Shift Differential: 2nd = $0.25

Essential Functions:

• Constantly check the product for quality, intermixing, or contamination
• Seal containers in the required manner and stamped with proper codes
• Constantly pack trays of Manicotti including straighten and inspection for inconsistencies
• Performs shutdown sanitation
• Must be able to meet production requirements
• Other duties assigned by the lead or manager

Essential Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing (factory setting) environment preferred
• Ability communication in English.
• Ability to communicate and follow work, GMP, and safety instructions.
• Must be able to work any day on the any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks.
• Required to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
• Required to stand, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
• Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
• Must be able to work any shift based upon Production Needs

Education

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
