We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer like you to help develop critical tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.  

As a DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to sharpen your skills in the latest automation, infrastructure, and cloud-based development while developing software that will a make mission forward impact.

You Have:   

• Experience with scripting using either Python or Groovy 

• Experience deploying applications into Kubernetes 

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) 

• Experience with Agile methods and practices 

• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab 

• Secret clearance 

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform 

• Experience with EKS or Rancher 

• Experience implementing Cloud-Native solutions to accelerate application development 

• Experience with Linux or Windows Server 

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering 

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Certification or AWS Certified Developer - Associate Certification 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
