The Lead Digital Solution Designer will become intimately familiar with the digital capabilities and practices, and how they’re utilized to approach new projects and clients. The Lead Digital Solutions Designer will be responsible for creating and managing the Digital Solution planning process, which includes developing and maintaining reusable resources critical to processes such as playbooks, solution design templates, and estimators. The Lead Digital Solution Designer will lay the groundwork other Digital Solution Designers will use to define comprehensive solutions with quality and consistency. The Lead Digital Solution Designer will have a history of developing and delivering successful technology projects within the digital space. They will have experience developing project estimates, staffing plans, and defining both bounding assumptions and requirements. The Lead Digital Solution Designer will be proficient using Microsoft Excel, as it will be used to create and modify complex accurate estimators for various digital solutions. Finally, the Lead Digital Solution Designer will be a practitioner, putting the playbook and estimator to work to ensure that the solutions proposed are aligned with the customer’s needs, expectations, and budget. The Lead Digital Solution Designer will define a solution that meets or exceeds customer needs and expectations, articulate the roadmap (time, cost, entry criteria, exit criteria, etc.), and be a balanced advocate for the needs of both the customer and the solution delivery functions. The Lead Digital Solution Designer is an individual that will serve as an advocate for the customer, solution, and partnering teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Facilitates development of business solution crosslines that combine knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and business processes. Consults with technical Subject Matter Experts SMEs) to develop technical solutions. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.•Works with the business development organization to assess the competitive threats and opportunities from digital enterprises that are generally considered outside the traditional realm of competition.•Supports the organization's digital strategy and how the organization currently approaches digital innovation and monetization by closely collaborating with the Digital Solutions organization.•Engages key business stakeholders to identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable and drive business strategy. Focuses on growing revenue, optimizes costs, and mitigates risks.•Utilizes a toolbox of business architecture deliverables to help business leaders identify and make technology investment decisions. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, business-outcome-statements, strategy on a page, scenario planning, business capability modeling, value-streams mapping, business process models, ecosystems modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, human-centric design, and investment roadmaps. •Works with business and technology executives to help describe and understand their business andoperating models by making the business models clear and explicit.•Uses the organization’s existing business and operating model as the starting point for innovation. For example, by using new technologies to enable a building block.•Seeks ways to drive adoption of new technology and reuse existing technology for enabling business capabilities, value streams, and business processes.•Reports to the Senior Director, Digital Solution Design and supports them in leading and managing the Digital Solutions practice.•Contributes to the creation and maintenance of the Digital Solution Design•Partners with various product and capability leads to capture best practices, requirements, assumptions, and other important relevant information required for solution plans.•Contributes to the creation and maintenance of common estimators for digital solutions based on historical data, benchmarks, and industry standards.•Serve as the point of contact for Digital Solutions customers.
