As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a construction-related course of study OR equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position
• six years of experience in electrical construction
• valid driver’s license
• advanced knowledge of the various construction methods and materials related to electrical installation
• advanced knowledge of electrical, communication, refrigeration, and fire alarm drawings and installation manuals
• advanced knowledge of retail electrical management systems
• knowledge of national electrical codes and other regulatory agency requirements
• knowledge of code calculations and ability to perform (i.e. wire sizing, conduit fill, low voltage calculations).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience
• eight years of experience in electrical construction, including project leadership experience (e.g., crew leader, supervisor, project foreman)
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10-hour certification 
• Journeyman Electrical License
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• experience with Landmark
• experience with Bluebeam
