About the role
Meta is seeking a Product Operations Manager, Reliability to join the Instagram/Threads team. The Product Operations Manager, Reliability leads operational programs to improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency (PRE) of the family of apps, with a specific focus on regression management.
As a Product Operations Manager, Reliability, your role will be to manage the design, implementation, and delivery of programs, rapidly evolving capabilities, driving operationalization, identifying candidates for automation, and leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to develop and inform cross-functional roadmaps. You'll also manage projects by collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams throughout the company, including product and engineering, to grow the impact of your team and improve user experience.

- Design end-to-end operational Performance, Reliability, and Efficiency (PRE) programs, developing processes, anticipating issues and implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Leverage data to develop KPIs, measure success, and influence direction of projects
- Balance and prioritize multiple initiatives, projects, and programs while continuing to make progress towards overall goals
- Facilitate business development with cross-functional partners to identify growth areas and influence direction of partner roadmaps
- Align with partners on KPIs, reporting out performance regularly to leadership, engineering and other cross-functional partners
- Manage day-to-day operations of team programs, driving investigation and resolution of app health regressions and high priority user facing issues
- Mentor team members, providing continual support to unblock and enable them to complete their respective projects
- 3+ years tech consulting or operations experience
- Intermediate SQL skills (ie. joins, subqueries/CTEs, aggregate functions, familiarity using windows functions)
- Program & project management and leadership experience
- Strategic thinker, using data to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated experience working independently in ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience in managing teammates through completion of projects
- Proven problem-solver
- Experience communicating with diverse sets of stakeholders through different mediums (chat, email, VC, in-person meetings) and across different time zones
- Moderate personnel management experience (onboarding, training, interviewing, mentoring)
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or eq uivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
- Advanced SQL skill set
- Intermediate analytics and problem-solving skill set
- 3+ years personnel management experience (onboarding, training, interviewing, mentoring)
- Moderate leadership experience
