EJD Operations Analyst

The EJD Operations Analyst will assist in ongoing issue resolution, technology defect and enhancement prioritization, process improvements, and other tasks. The role will work closely with the Emery Jensen organization and across the enterprise with IT, Merchandising, Retail Support and Customer Care.

This position is located in our Oak Brook, IL corporate offices.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with team members on technology issue resolution, enhancement and defect prioritization, process improvements, and other tasks
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on Emery Jensen ordering technologies and methods
• Define business requirements and manage business testing on enhancements/defects/projects to improve the user experience on Emery Jensen customer ordering portal and mobile app
• Serve as an active member on IT projects that involve Emery Jensen ordering systems, provide input and develop testing, training and implementation plans for such projects
• Responsible for training and documentation related to new online processes or tools to provide a smoother transitioning experience for internal and external partners
• Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to reduce complexity, improve quality, and increase customer satisfaction with Emery Jensen ordering platforms; collaborate in development of ordering technology roadmap, process optimization and efficiencies
• Manage SAP system processes related to creating/maintaining customer specific product assortment requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or an analyst related field
• 2-3 years of business analyst experience
• Experienced user of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Strong experience and working knowledge of SAP
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong business and technical skills
• Detail-oriented and organized self-starter with proven ability to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a broad internal team ranging from operations to sales to retail support to senior leadership
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage simultaneously occurring tasks and shifting priorities
