About the role

Job Description

To be a Sr. Product Manager in the MCU Product Innovation team is to own product innovation, definition and release to market for our microcontroller portfolio. You will have a central role within BL Secure Connected Edge organization – continuously gathering valuable intelligence from internal stakeholders, customers, competitors and the markets we serve – and in turn you will create competitive and compelling products and drive their market launch. You will be in a unique position to positively influence the success of the BL with a global responsibility and full product ownership.

Given that you will need to interact with a broad range of stakeholders and departments to ensure your products’ success, and that you will need to translate the input and data you gather to build a case for many decisions you present in your roadmap, there are several key skills you’ll need to bring to your role as a product manager.

·       Accountability for the product definition process, development of roadmap and delivering upon design-in targets.   

·       Form strong interdisciplinary link between segment marketing, systems engineering, design teams, sales and marketing organization, and our customers. 

·       Responsible for creating business plans in order to justify investment in new products/markets; creating strong internal advocacy in the process. 

·       Manage the product management activities related to the product, including value proposition, positioning and promotion. 

·       Drive he product life cycle, from requirements definition to end of life. 

·       Competitive analysis: build benchmark messaging and adjust strategy based on competitive positioning. 

·       Manage partnerships with ecosystem partners and customers to have a differentiated solution, offering value across the supply chain.  

·       Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

·       Master’s degree in Microelectronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant disciplines. advanced degree preferred

·       More than 10 years professional work experience, preferably in MCUs

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

·       Strong presentation, documentation, communication and customer-facing skills

·       A collaborative, team player with the ability to develop strong and effective working relationships across the company

·       Good organizational skills and commitment to fast follow through

·       Demonstrates a willingness to continuously learn and improve

·       Ability to challenge decisions and approach issues with creative solutions

·       Strongly oriented toward process improvement and operational excellence

·       Highly agile in achieving success within a constantly evolving environment

·       Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.
Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$173,840 to $239,000 annually
