SUMMARY

 

The Senior ERP Project Manager will take technical and functional leadership in the areas of ERP system administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training for internal and external users and clients. The Senior ERP Project Manager is a critical thinker and problem-solver with great attention to detail and communicates effectively with end-users at all levels of the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Utilize inventory management software and tools to track and manage inventory across multiple locations. 
  • Manage obsolescence risk through STBD (Soon To Be Dead) , Non-Moving items, Client ‘Custom’ categorization and EOL (End of Life) processes, as required
  • Optimize sharing of global inventory between sites through transfers and global blanket orders
  • Assist in improving both Regional and Global Inventory Turns
  • Work with the global Operations and Finance teams to meet organizational targets

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Five years of professional work experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) years demonstrated experience as ERP Project Manager or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline
  • Proven experience in inventory management or optimization, preferably in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to be an effective team leader as well as a contributing team player
  • Experience with ERP’s (SAP, Oracle, Priority ERP etc.) or Inventory Systems (WMS, Purchasing Software)

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Project and Power Point
  • Strong data entry and data analysis skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system

 

Language Skills

  • English Proficiency (reading, writing and verbal)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

 

Mathematical Skills

  • Intermediate mathematic problem solving

 

Other Skills

  • Must have general knowledge of Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory Control and Quality processes and management methodologies
  • Ability to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment while also being an individual contributor
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills
