Job Description

  

The Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs facility structures, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role performs a variety of skilled trades work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, and supports manufacturing and process engineering by maintaining building systems required for production activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility structures, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Perform skilled trades work such as carpentry, painting, and general construction related to the construction, repair, or alteration of walls, roofs, and office fixtures
  • Support manufacturing and process engineering with the installation, modification, or repair of building plumbing and wiring required for production processes
  • Conduct routine and special inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs
  • Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate corrective actions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and rough sketches to complete assigned work
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in facility maintenance or skilled trades
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
