Job Description Summary
Provide timely and quality focused business analysis and assist business stakeholders and Project Managers to ensure success of project delivery. Identify improvement initiatives and solutions and manage their implementation within the business. Understand business needs and opportunities, including a good understanding of business risk and ability to perform and communicate feasibility studies. Manage work estimation and planning of analytical activities which may include team resourcing, project timeframes and scope of projects. Develop and execute plans delegated by managers through reporting and status updates. Create business cases for new or existing ventures the business is considering. Provide risk assessment and general information about impact on the business.recommendations related to the delivery of the change program.
Job Description
Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education, experience and/or, specialized training to serve as a liaison between the frontline staff and the leadership teams to provide solutions to meet business unit needs. Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance to support the department. Implement business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the department on business practices and processes. Resolves or recommends solutions to moderately complex problems. Extensive contact with internal customers is required to identify, research, and resolve problems. May train or lead the work of others and leads projects of moderate scope in various facets of operational processing, oversight and quality assurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Work with functional areas within the department to understand the business case and primary objectives of new projects.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment on initiatives and projects.
· Ability to be involved in numerous projects simultaneously and understand how to prioritize alongside supporting operational functions.
Reviews operational procedures and methods; maps current business processes; defines and analyzes business activities; identifies best practices; and recommends improvements.
Consults with users to identify, analyze, refine, and document business requirements.
· Perform gap analysis and translate findings into business process and/or system requirements;
· Support quality assurance reviews of operational processes and oversight.
· Gather data to better forecast and optimize utilization of staff. Develop and define metrics (i.e.. productivity, quality, staffing) for department targets.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Functional, operational, and technical requirements of assigned project(s)/business unit initiatives.
Back-office concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
General financial industry knowledge and knowledge of supported business area.
Concepts, practices, and procedures analyzing business processes. Business analytics and process improvement.
Skill in
· Verbal and written communication;
· Analytics and problem solving; and decision making.
Preparing various reports, summaries, surveys, and written recommendations.
· Developing and maintaining project plans.
· Business Analysis tools: Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to

· Maintain a strong attention to detail;
· Communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences;
