Additional Job Description 

Skills/Competencies:  

Experience: 

  • Typically, 10+ years of proven experience in testing and monitoring. 

  • Extensive knowledge of business data and in developing data analytics projects, preferably using the Microsoft power platform. 

  • Relevant background knowledge of Private Placements, SEC Rule 38a-1 and state regulations as they apply to Life and Annuities business lines. 

  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations, policy provisions, state insurance department rules, and SEC/state securities regulations. 

  • Experience with forms approvals in URBO a plus. 

  • Familiarity adjusting company processes, forms, and/or procedures to changing state and federal law (Reg Intel) a plus. 

Work Skills: 

  • Ability to prioritize large volumes of work and handle multiple matters simultaneously. 

  • Skill in interpreting and analyzing statutes, regulations, legislation, and related documents into succinct analysis. 

  • Effective risk assessment and implementation of mitigation strategies. 

  • Prioritization of work and project tasks, along with evaluating and recommending solutions for compliance and internal process issues. 

Communication: 

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, influence decision-making, and represent the organization in critical, strategic discussions. 

  • Capability to produce written reports and advise business units on regulatory requirements and changes. 

Collaboration and Adaptability: 

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a highly matrixed organization, collaborating with associates at all levels.
